Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any scuba diving, snorkeling, boat trip, training course, private charter, or other activity with Red Coral Dive Center.
Agreement to These Terms
By making a booking, paying a deposit or fee, entering one of our boats or facilities, renting equipment, or participating in an activity operated by Red Coral Dive Center, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
These terms apply to scuba diving, snorkeling, PADI and other training activities, shore diving, boat diving, private trips, equipment rental, transportation, and other services supplied by Red Coral Dive Center.
Bookings & Reservations
A booking is subject to availability and is not guaranteed until it has been accepted by Red Coral Dive Center and any required payment or deposit has been received.
Guests should provide accurate information including their full name, contact information, dates, number of participants, certification level, recent diving experience, and requested activities.
Group bookings, private boat trips, specialist activities, and training courses may have additional booking requirements.
Prices & Payments
Prices are normally displayed in Jordanian Dinars (JD/JOD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may vary depending on the selected activity, equipment requirements, boat use, private guiding, course materials, certification fees, gases, technical equipment, transportation, or customized services.
Red Coral Dive Center may update prices, promotions, or packages at any time before a booking is confirmed. The price confirmed for your accepted reservation will apply unless the booking is subsequently changed.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, bank card, or other methods communicated by the dive center. Any applicable payment-processing surcharge will be disclosed before payment where relevant.
Cancellations, Changes & No-Shows
If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact Red Coral Dive Center as early as possible.
Refund eligibility may depend on the amount of notice given, the type of booking, expenses already incurred, course materials or certification fees already issued, boat arrangements, and third-party costs.
Guests who fail to arrive at the agreed meeting time without notifying us may be treated as a no-show and may lose some or all amounts paid.
Special cancellation conditions may apply to private boats, groups, courses, technical diving, and customized packages. These conditions should be confirmed when booking.
Medical Fitness to Dive
Scuba diving requires an appropriate level of physical and medical fitness.
Participants may be required to complete a medical questionnaire before training or diving. Depending on the answers provided, the activity involved, or applicable diving standards, medical clearance from a qualified physician may be required before participation.
Participants must inform the dive center of any relevant change in their health or medical condition before entering the water.
Red Coral Dive Center may decline or postpone participation when there are reasonable concerns regarding medical fitness or safe participation.
Diver Certification & Responsibility
Certified divers may be required to show proof of certification before participating in certified-diver activities.
Divers are responsible for providing accurate information concerning certification, experience, number of dives, recent diving activity, and any relevant limitations.
Each diver must follow dive briefings, depth and time limits, buddy procedures, instructor or guide directions, safe ascent practices, and any other safety instructions given by the team.
Red Coral Dive Center may modify the dive plan or refuse participation where a diver's certification, experience, behavior, physical condition, or demonstrated ability is unsuitable for the planned activity.
Diving Courses & Training
Course completion is not automatic merely because the course fee has been paid.
Students must satisfy the applicable knowledge, skills, performance, medical, age, prerequisite, and training requirements for the selected program.
Additional training or additional dives may be required if a student needs more time to meet required performance standards. Additional charges may apply where additional services are necessary.
Course materials, e-learning access, certification fees, and other registration costs that have already been issued or activated may not be refundable.
Boat participation during a training course may involve an additional boat-trip charge where it is not included in the course package.
Boat Trips & Private Charters
Boat departure times, routes, dive sites, snorkeling stops, and return times are approximate and may change because of weather, sea conditions, safety considerations, port requirements, operational needs, or other circumstances.
Guests must follow all instructions issued by the captain, crew, instructors, and dive guides while aboard.
Private charter prices may cover use of the vessel only unless scuba diving, equipment, food, crew services, or other activities are expressly included in the quotation.
Guests are responsible for arriving at the agreed departure or pickup point on time.
Rental Equipment
Guests using rental equipment must use it carefully, only for its intended purpose, and in accordance with staff instructions.
Participants should check fit and comfort before entering the water and report any suspected problem immediately.
Guests may be responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification, or failure to return rented equipment.
Normal wear and reasonable equipment failure are not treated as guest damage.
Weather, Sea Conditions & Program Changes
Diving and boating depend on environmental and operational conditions that cannot always be predicted.
Red Coral Dive Center may change dive sites, departure times, routes, boats, instructors, guides, schedules, or activities when necessary for safety or operational reasons.
If conditions make the planned activity unsuitable, we may offer an alternative site, activity, time, or date where reasonably possible.
Safety decisions made by the captain, instructor, guide, or dive-center management must be respected.
Assumption of Risk & Liability
Scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, swimming, and related activities involve inherent risks that cannot be eliminated completely even when appropriate procedures and equipment are used.
Participants must follow safety instructions and may be required to sign activity-specific risk acknowledgement, liability, release, or assumption-of-risk documentation before taking part.
Nothing in these website terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Guests remain responsible for personal belongings brought to the dive center, beach, vehicle, marina, or boat unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Alcohol, Drugs & Unsafe Conduct
Participants must not enter the water or participate in diving activities while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that makes participation unsafe.
Aggressive, dangerous, abusive, or deliberately unsafe behavior toward staff, crew, other guests, equipment, marine life, or property may result in immediate exclusion from the activity.
In such situations, refunds may be refused where permitted by applicable law.
Children & Minors
Age restrictions apply to some scuba courses and activities. Participation by minors is subject to the requirements of the selected training program and applicable diving standards.
A parent or legal guardian may be required to provide consent, complete documentation, and remain involved in the registration process for participants under the applicable age threshold.
Photos, Videos & Media
Complimentary dive photographs may be offered with selected activities but are not guaranteed unless expressly included as part of a confirmed package.
Image quality and availability can depend on equipment, conditions, visibility, safety priorities, and operational circumstances.
Red Coral Dive Center will not use a guest's recognizable image for promotional purposes where consent is legally required unless appropriate permission has been obtained.
Marine Environment
Guests are expected to respect Aqaba's marine environment, coral reefs, wrecks, wildlife, and protected areas.
Divers and snorkelers should avoid touching, standing on, collecting, feeding, damaging, or intentionally disturbing coral or marine life.
Any applicable marine-park, environmental, port, or governmental rules must be followed.
